Long Form Improv
In collaboration with International Theater Stockholm
In long form improv, the improvisers create a story from the beginning to the end. It may be as short as ten minutes, or as long as a full two act show.
In this class we will practice both short and longer formats. You will learn what constitutes a story and how we can make interesting, dramatic and funny stories that we love to play and the audience love to watch. We will work on creating characters with clear objectives and strong relationships, practice space work and narration to develop our ability to improvise long form stories of different lengths.
If you’re not familiar with the long form format or you want to get some inspiration, I recommend you to come and watch “Thursday Night Improv” at Bio Aspen.

11/1, 18/1, 25/1, 1/2, 8/2, 15/2, 22/2, 8/3
(No class on 1/3 Winter break)
Location: Midsommargården, Telefonplan
(Telefonvägen 20, Hägersten. 50 meters from Telefonplan subway station, 15 min to T-centralen).
Fee: 2800 SEK
Previous experience: 2 improv courses
Language: English (All nationalities are welcome, including Swedes who want to improvise in English)
